Great Things Ahead!

So Byron and I just celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary yesterday! We didn't do much, because we are in the process of buying OUR 1st home! I am so excited to be starting this new chapter in our lives. I am still in school and Byron is starting school today! Tanner is playing tee ball now! He loves it! It has made our lives a lot busier though! We stay busy, but I would rather be busy than sitting at home doing nothing! I will be done with school in March, that is with my Associates, but after that I am going on to my Bachelors. Byron is going straight for his bachelors! It will be nice once we are both done.

I am so excited to be getting ready for our new home! Our closing date is November 7th! So about a month and we will be ready to move! Once we move in I will be sure to get some pictures of it! It is very cute and I think perfect for us!

Whoa! Life is Crazy!

So the past couple months have been super busy for us! Since the last time I updated we haven't done too many super exciting things... We did go to the beach for my birthday. Byron and I have a nice weekend to ourselves. We went to Isle of Palms, it was super nice and a good relaxing weekend for us to be together. I have been super busy with school over the past several months. I started back in January so i am just about half way through! I am supposed to be done with my associates degree in March! I am so ready to be done. And have a better paying job with good benefits so we can get rid of Byron's crappy county insurance. Byron is supposed to be going back to school in September. So we will see how that goes. 

We went hunting this past Sunday, we got up at 4:30 so we could get up and get ready and be to the hunt club in Bamberg by just after 6. We got in the stand by 6:30ish, and we were getting down by 6:50, why so soon?? Because I had already shot my first deer!!! We were trying to get situated in the stand and had just settled down when we picked up our guns to make sure we were comfortable and Byron had just put his down to help me with something when I looked thru my scope again and noticed there was a deer!! So after getting super excited and fighting to see through my scope and hoping the deer wasnt going to bolt with all the noise we were making I was finally able to put the cross hairs on him and pull the trigger! That was one heck of an adrenaline rush!! I did it though and I dropped him right where he stood!!  Byron was proud! lol. We went and picked him up and went on our merry way to take him home and clean him! Now to get it processed so we can have some good deer meat!! 

Rain, rain, go away

Today has been a super slow day. This morning when I got to work the server for our system we use when we do all of our tickets was down! That didnt get brought back up until about 12:30, then I played catch up getting all my tickets in from the morning. This rain really isnt helping things! I just want to go home and go back to bed!

This weekend went by way too fast! I did however have a great day with my hubby after church yesterday! We went four wheeler riding with one of his fire fighter buddies in Aiken. Yes it did rain all day, but that made it  that much more fun! As soon as we got off the interstate for the exit for this place the rain stopped! It help off most of the time we were out there. We played in the mud! That was pretty fun, I was soaked by the time we left. It started raining about an hour before we left! It was fun though. There were some guys out there with jeeps that was pretty fun to watch. That would scare the crap out of me climbing those hills in those jeeps almost flipping them over!

I was beat last night, but that nice rain storm that came through made it super easy to fall asleep!

Busy Bee!

So this past weekend was quite the weekend for us. Friday after work started with me going to the gym, and then to Byron's grandparents house for dinner for Byron's dads birthday! We had a very good roast for dinner, I don't normally eat roast but this was very good. Nanny made some awesome homemade mashed potatoes and corn and homemade rolls! Great dinner to eat right after going to the gym, NOT! Before and after dinner Byron and I, his sister and her husband Byron's dad, uncle and all the kids played pepper in the front yard. Pepper is a fun game, I had never played it before. I guess I worked off my dinner though. Only bad thing about me being outside is I got eaten by mosquitoes! I think I was their dinner! I have about 15 bites per leg!

Saturday, was the Run Ella Run memorial 5k. It was our first 5k. Byron, myself, my friend Caroline, and Byron's 2 buddies Chris and Bobby did it with us. It was so much fun the guys did great all finishing around the 29 minute mark. Caroline and I didn't do quite as good, but we finished in under an hour. That was kind of our goal. I had a blast doing the Ella run and I cant wait for next year! After the run we went to eat breakfast with the group that did the run with us and after that I ran home to shower to go to a party at 12 at my sister in laws house only to get there and find out she canceled the party! I was quite upset that I rushed and drove all the way to her house, for her to tell me she must have forgotten to text me! She text 17 other people but not me!!

So after that fiasco I went home to go with Byron and Tanner to ride four wheelers at my moms house. We went to the sand pits and played in the mud. We had a good time. Tanner stayed with my mom Saturday night so that he could go to the luau at church with them that was being put on my The Shumate's (Ella's Parents). Byron and I went home after riding four wheelers to go shower (my third shower of the day!) and get ready for a wedding. The wedding was for one of my friends I grew up with at my dad's church. The wedding was beautiful! We went to the reception which was at The Hall at Senate's End. It was very nice. We didn't stay long because my feet were killing me and I didn't have any extra shoes. I decided like a genius to wear four inch heels to a wedding after running a 5k the same morning! What was I thinking!?!?!?! We left the wedding and went home. we got home about 8:30 and I changed and laid on the couch to watch a little bit of TV with my hubby. Next thing I know Byron's sitting next to me going "Baby, Baby are you ready to go to bed?" It was only 9 and I was asleep on the couch! Needless to say I slept like a baby that night!

Anyways Sunday was my day of rest. I went to church and then Tanner and I went home to do nothing! He played in the pool and I made dinner and my mom and Madyson and Laura Ann came and ate dinner. After that it was homework and bed for me!  It was a very fun but very busy and tiring weekend!

Getting ready for this busy weekend

This weekend is going to be quite the eventful weekend for my family and I. However I am really looking forward to it! Today once I get off work I am going to the gym, I have been working with  personal trainer with weight lifting and doing some cardio. I am trying to get back in shape and loose the little bit of weight I have gained since getting married... I cant fit into any of my summer clothes from last year! Byron and I got a membership to the local gym and got a killer deal since its run by the county and he is a county employee.

I have to go pick up out shirts and numbers for the Run Ella Run Memorial 5K today when I get done at the gym. We have the Ella Run, as we all have been calling it, tomorrow morning at 8 am! I am so excited to do it, and to remember sweet Ella. Tanner is doing the kids fun run tomorrow at the run. Tanner loved Ella! I have painted my fingernails hot pink and have made pink sunglasses for everyone in our group! It is going to be so fun!

After the run I have to go home to shower and get ready for a party I am going to at my sister-in-laws house at 12. This should be fun. After the party I have to go back home and get ready for a wedding that evening for a friend i grew up with! I am so happy for Kelli and Justin and I know the wedding is going to be beautiful. I think by the time Saturday is over with I am going to crash when my head hits the pillow!

Since the last time...

So it has been quite a while since I posted last. Since my last posting I have gotten married!! Which was the most amazing day of my life! Everything was perfect! We had a blast on our honeymoon. Byron and I went on a cruise that left out of Jacksonville Fl, from there we went to Key West and the to Nassau Bahamas! In Key west we went Snuba diving. That was so much fun, once I got over my little freak out and figured out how to breathe on the respirator! The fish and the reef were so beautiful! In Nassau we went to the Atlantis Resort, and went to the water park. Byron and I had a blast. I deff want to go back there again.

In January I started going back to school. I am doing all my classes online through the University of Phoenix... It's nice being able to do everything from home, but it sure is hard to motivate yourself to do the work. I have done good so far and passed all my classes. I am over half way there. I am set to graduate with my Associates in Heath Care Administration in March of 2013, from there I will probably go on to my Bachelors.
