Christmas is so close!

I don't think I have been this excited about Christmas in years! I think it's because I have Tanner this year! I cant wait to see his face Christmas morning when he sees what Santa brought him! lol... He is getting some pretty awesome gifts if I do say so myself! haha he is at his mom until Christmas Eve, then we get him back. We made cookies for Santa yesterday before he left so he could help since he is not going to be here! :( We took a "family" Christmas picture the other night to give to our grandparents and family... I love having a nice camera and a tri-pod! It makes things so much easier sometimes! This picture is a perfect pic of Tanners everyday attitude! lol... so him!

It's almost Christmas time!

I feel like a little kid, I am so excited that Christmas is almost here! I can't wait to see what I am getting for Christmas (I have a pretty big present under the tree!) Most of all though I think I am more excited to see Tanner's reaction to what he is getting! He is going to be soooooooo excited to see what Santa is bringing him and what we got him! We went to Byron's Christmas party for the fire department last night, it was at Myabis... it was good but we had lots of fun! It was nice to have a night to our selves... well i have some cleaning to do considering we have been nothing but bums all weekend....

a big change....

so i know its been quite a while since i last updated. A LOT has happened in the past week and a half. i lost my job december 2nd, not so happy about that. it makes things very hard. so i have been keeping tanner since then. i dont mind that, but a job would be nice bc i deff need the money. thank goodness for my granny and papa helping me with my bills until i can find another job or get unemployment. i applied for unep the day after i got laid off... they told me i wont get anything until jan.!!! ahhh are you serious! thats redic! byrons helping where he can to. i am staying home and keeping tanner to help him with money. so he doesnt have to pay his sis to watch him like usual. esp with money being so tight. sitting at home gets kinda boring though... but tanner and i are going to make chocolate chip cookies!!!! and then we are going to take some to byron at the fire dept. since he is working today. then its to the store to buy stockings to so we can make them tomorrow when he gets off....

its almost turkey day!

thanksgiving is in 2 days! yummm.... i am  excited, its our first thanksgiving together. it should be very interesting. we have to go to my moms family, my dads, his moms, his dads, and my moms dads..... so i think i am going to go nuts. by the time thanksgiving day is over i am going to be so exhausted its not funny! and i have to work on the day after.... i am kinda bummed about that, bc i have gone every year since i was little, and gone shopping with my granny at 5 am! im gonna miss it.... but we will see how it goes...

what a weekend!

i have had a crazy but great weekend so far! saturday i went to the carolina game with abt 5 other people, and had a blast!!! we completely destroyed troy. it was an absolutely beautiful day for a football game. it was the first carolina game i have been too in about 6 years if not longer! yesterday was also laura anns 5th birthday! i cant believe she is already 5! whoa!
today was tanners 3rd birthday! i went to church this morning, and after wards went to tanners party. it was fun, nothing big, just family. had hot dogs and cake. then after wards byron and i went to look at a house. sooo maybe we will act upon it... we will see how it goes.

another day in the office

so i got to work not long ago, and i am starving!!!! i was going to stop and get me some food but didnt have enough time! :( my stomach feels like its eating my backbone. lol. hopefully the people i work with will figure out what they want to eat soon so we can go get something. we usually get breakfast every morning from somewhere! it rocks i must say!

so last night byron went hunting, i got tanner when i got off work and went to the house and cooked dinner before he got home. hibachi style chicken and rice! yum!!! i must say i did a good job! byron almost had us a deer last night! he should have taken a shower like he was supposed to before he left, and maybe we would have one right now! he said it sat right there near him, for like 5 mins blowing at him.... i might be a really picky eater but i sure love me some deer meat!! its oh so good! he is going again tonight so maybe we will get one this time!

tomorrow i am going to the carolina game! i am quite excited. it should be a cake game! this is the first game i have gone to in like 5 years, so i cant wait!


well i guess its off to go get some food!

first try

So I keep looking at everyone's blogs, and I think I am going to give this a shot. I really enjoy reading everyone's they always make me laugh. I should be able to keep this thing up pretty easy considering I don't do too much at work... I literally played on facebook almost all day long. We were soooo slow!

For those of you who don't know, I work at Quackt Glass, they do automotive glass repair and replacement. It is most deff a cake job. I sit at a desk all day and answer the phones, I call in claims to insurance, and schedule appointments. I get to play on a mac all day, and I have a 40 or 50 something inch tv that hangs behind me and i get to watch all day, we even have satellite!!!!

I am oh so in love with Byron McCraw, and his absolutely adorable son Tanner! Byron is a Fire-Fighter for Lexington County. He loves what he does and I am so grateful for that. He loves every minute of it. Byron is more than a Fire-Fighter though, he worked as a Plumber before joining the fire service. His dad owns his own plumbing company, McCraw Plumbing. He is a great "handy-man." Tanner is the sweetest little boy ever, he turns 3 this Sunday! When Byron and I started talking Tanner started calling me "Broke" it was the sweetest thing. I was his Broke!!! He wont do it anymore... that made Byron kinda sad.

Byron and I have been together for 9 months now. He is a great guy! I love him to death. We have our little arguments, every now-and-then, but who doesn't. We have been talking about a future together more, recently... And we are going to look at houses this weekend. (thank goodness for a friend who's a real-estate agent!!!)

I have an AMAZING family. I really don't know what I would do without them. They are the reason I am who I am. My grand-parents are the best ever, i couldn't ask for better! And my mother is the greatest mother in the world! She has helped me through so much and I have learned so much from her. We are so much alike it's scary. 

Ok so I wrote a whole lot more than I thought I would. But hey it's a start. Here goes nothing.
